COMPASS – Children & Youth Ministry

COMPASS Program Overview

At COMPASS, we are dedicated to imparting the timeless truths of God’s Word to students from Pre K through 12th grade, all while ensuring a fun and engaging learning environment. Our mission is anchored in the biblical wisdom of Proverbs 22:6, which says, “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” We believe in guiding our young learners on a path of spiritual growth and discipleship, preparing them to advance the great commission and serve faithfully according to their calling.

Vision Statement:
Our vision is to nurture and raise young disciples who are equipped with a strong foundation in God’s Word and who will go on to further the great commission, serving the Lord with passion and purpose.

Class Structure:
COMPASS offers a structured program tailored to different age groups, ensuring age-appropriate learning and spiritual development:

– Bible Buddies (Nursery & Pre KG): For our youngest learners, we create a nurturing and playful environment where they begin their journey with simple biblical truths.
– Bible Beginners (Kindergarten & 1st Grade): This class introduces foundational biblical stories and principles in a way that is both engaging and accessible to early learners.
– Bible Rookies (2nd – 5th Grades): Building on the basics, this class delves deeper into biblical narratives and teachings, encouraging curiosity and understanding.
– Bible Champs (6th – 12th Grades): Our older students engage in more in-depth Bible study and application, preparing them to face life’s challenges with a strong, faith-based foundation.

Activities and Programs:
To make learning God’s Word a joyful and memorable experience, we plan a variety of activities, trips, and events. These include:

– Vacation Bible School: A fun and immersive program that brings biblical stories to life through activities, crafts, and songs.
– Summer Camp: An exciting opportunity for students to grow in their faith through outdoor adventures, team-building exercises, and worship.
– Bible Quizzes: Interactive and competitive events that encourage students to deepen their knowledge of the Scriptures.
– Hallelujah Party: A festive celebration that combines fun with faith-based activities, fostering a sense of community and joy.

At COMPASS, we are committed to equipping the next generation with the knowledge and love of God’s Word, empowering them to navigate life’s journey with faith, wisdom, and joy.
